Window Shop For Love
Things I like- Robot Dancing, Old Country Music, Buying stuff I don't need, being creative, taking pictures, Cathedral Park, The Kenton Club, walking my dog, playing music with my friends, impulsive travel, old movie theaters, record covers, big art, sushi, middle eastern food, good rock shows, dark lounges, argyle socks, dressing up or down, cowboy boots, Johnny Cash, Gang of Four, the Sadies, Charles Mingus, The Wipers, (so much more music I don't even know where to start), being active, going out or staying in, happy hour, having fun. Random stuff- When I listen to NPR it is almost as nostalgic as informative or entertaining for me. My Dad listened to it all the time while I was growing up. As a kid I remember being picked up with snow coming down and Click and Clack rocking on the old ford fairmont sound system. I owned my own guitar/vintage clothing/ record store for three years. From years of touring I have been to almost every state in the country. These days I often travel with my dog. Hope you don't mind a little fur.
I think Portland is great, but would be better with the right person in my life.
What is something that people are surprised to find out about you? I love 5 toed cats.
If you could have a dinner party and invite any 4 people, dead or alive, who'd be coming? Bill Murray, Tom Waits, Joe Strummer, and my Dad.
What kind of person are you attracted to? Funny, Creative, Sweet, Fun.
How far will you travel to meet the right partner? I've jumped on a plane more than once. Austin is always good.
Where else have you lived and what brought you to Portland? I lived in Bellingham Wa for 15 years. It was time to check out this city life thing. Not too bad I must say.
I consider myself an open-minded person, but my deal breakers are selfishness and no sense of humor
Something I said I'd never do but did anyway was go back to school
The first section I turn to in the Mercury is the music listings
The Thing I hate about Portland is? traffic The thing I love about Portland is? The music, the St. Johns Bridge, all the green mixed with the grit
It's Sunday morning at 10 a.m. If I'm not still sleeping, I'm getting you coffee
When stuck in gridlock I look at my Dog's head hanging outside the window
I want to make a t-shirt that says Don't get an aquarium if you want a dog (tell you more about it later)
Great sex calls for lots of chemistry
My beverage of choice is bourbon served with soda
I wouldn't sell my dog for a billion dollars.
