What is something that people are surprised to find out about you? I spent 6+ years pursuing a Geography degree. Then after finally graduating, spent the next five years geographically navigating my way around Washington DC as a bike messenger. I'll be paying on my loan for the next 50 years and seem to be perpetually contemplating grad-school.

Where are your local haunts? Any of the local coffee shops that serve up the thick, delicious sludge. I've also always been a fan of gritty, atmospheric dive bars. But then I also dig tasty and locally made microbrews from a clean, well maintained tap. I guess I'm not terribly picky in this regard.

How far will you travel to meet the right partner? The ends of the earth. Though I'd probably prefer to stay in & around portland and/or the surrounding burbs.

What songs would be on the soundtrack of your life? I grew up in a little, midwestern hicktown and so really only knew hick music and classic rock through high school. Probably some Led-Zeppelin or something.

Where else have you lived and what brought you to Portland? Pittsburgh, Baltimore, DC. I'd long been curious to see what all the west coast hype was all about.

I consider myself an open-minded person, but my deal breakers are angry people and can't really think of a second one offhand. I'll get back to you though

The last concert/show I attended was... Colin Hay (he of "men at work" fame. He played all the MAW stuff too. It was wonderful and nostalgic and more wonderful.)
