I like going on little adventures but I also like to snuggle up in front of the tv (or in my case the laptop with instant netflix). I have a lot of energy and summer is my favorite time of the year. I am a summertime girl, for sure. I love going to the river and to Sauvie Island, having picnics, water balloon fights, and innertubing. I hate it when people sit inside all day playing video games on a beautiful day. That's totally lame. After being here in Portland for six years I am starting to appreciate the other seasons as well. I really want to try snowshoeing and last year I went sledding for the first time. I'm also down with hiking and getting buck naked in hot springs.
I'm not really sure what I'm looking for right now. Maybe a new friend to pal around with...maybe something more. Please don't send me nasty emails if I don't write you back. This has been happening a lot lately and it's gross and tacky. I just wanted to throw that out there. So with that said I guess I also appreciate people who have proper social boundaries.
Things that I love in a guy: self-confidence without arrogance, respect for women, bathing!, having a strong idea of who are and what you want out of life, a particular brand of humor, having a lust for adventure and needing to have new experiences to keep moving forward, knowing how to have a dream but to balance everything with a healthy sense of realism.
What is something that people are surprised to find out about you? That I once karaoked my way across the country from Savannah,Ga to Las Vegas with a friend of mine. We literally did karaoke in every town we stopped to sleep or have dinner in.
If you could have a dinner party and invite any 4 people, dead or alive, who'd be coming? Tallullah Bankhead, Judge Judy, John Irving, and Eva Braun.
Where are your local haunts? Goodwill,Powell's,Hal's Tavern,Sauvie Island
What kind of person are you attracted to? Someone sweet and funny and maybe a little bit shy. Someone with an eye for aesthetics. And someone that is hella into making out. Also, I love big brown eyes but really any color will do.
How far will you travel to meet the right partner? If I really was sure I would swim the English Channel, traverse the plains of Africa on a camel, walk across molten lava fields at the Earth's equator, or shoot into space on a rocket.
What songs would be on the soundtrack of your life? How about the albums of my life? Eh? Postal Service-Give Up, Arcade Fire-Funeral, Death Cab for Cutie-We have the facts and we are voting yes,Brian Jonestown Massacre-And this is our music, PJ Harvey- Tales from the city/Tales from the Sea, Tori Amos- Boys for Pele, Bjork- Vespertine,Sufjan Stevens- Come on Feel the Illinoise!, Iron and Wine- Woman King, The Shins- Chutes too Narrow, Neko Case- Fox Confessor brings the flood, Flaming Lips-Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, Air-Talkie Walkie,Feist-The Reminder, Neutral Milk Hotel-The Aeroplane Flew Over the Sea, The New Timbaland Album,Menomena, American Analog Set-Know by Heart, Ramona Falls
Where else have you lived and what brought you to Portland? I grew up in Alabama and went to art school in Savannah, GA. l also spent a delightful summer bartending on the Gulf of Mexico and living on an Island. I moved here to make art with friends from school and get some perspective on America from a place outside of the South.
Who’s someone you’d like to be trapped in a confined space with? Gah I don't know.... Scott Bakula circa 1995?
What is your idea of a good time? swimming naked at night drunk, playing shuffleboard, going to karaoke with my friends, watching cable at other people's houses, making stuff with my friends and then trying to sell it to people. Making mixed CD's. Naked bike rides. Nude beaches. Prank calls.
What is something you're looking forward to? Having sex and then ordering pizza afterward.
I consider myself an open-minded person, but my deal breakers are bad kissers and lack of direction
Design your ideal mate: the brain of Macguyver and the body of Andy Samberg
Something I said I'd never do but did anyway was move to a cold climate.
The first section I turn to in the Mercury is I,anonymous
The quickest way to my heart is making me laugh really hard The quickest way to my bed is by being a good kisser And in the morning, I like my eggs cooked benedict, baby!
The Thing I hate about Portland is? short summers The thing I love about Portland is? That I can find like minded folks for any hobby I have

Great sex calls for lots of mental stimulation

If I found a million dollars on the side of the road, I would invest half, travel around the world, and then take classes for the rest of my life as I live off of the interest
